L’assunto che il Sindaco di Capaccio Paestum ha lanciato ai presenti è tanto grave quanto comico. Grave perché denota il poco senso democratico del Sindaco Alfieri, evidentemente persona che non crede nel sistema democratico del quale fa parte in qualità di rappresentante di enti ed istituzioni. A questo punto, se è così davvero convinto della validità di quanto ha affermato, sarebbe da parte sua azione conseguenziale il dare le dimissioni da Comune e Provincia, organi democratici, e magari darsi all’anarchia prendendo il posto di Cospito oppure fondare un’organizzazione sovversiva del sistema democratico vigente in Italia sul modello delle vecchie BR o dei NAR. Ovviamente, per poter fare simili cose, occorre innanzitutto coraggio e risolutezza, doti che, come diceva Don Abbondio ne I Promessi Sposi, “chi non possiede non può darsene”. Pertanto, lo sconsigliamo dall’intraprendere simili iniziative. Tuttavia, le parole di un uomo contano, “le parole sono importanti” diceva Nanni Moretti. E, quindi, in assenza di una retromarcia o di una correzione o, meglio ancora, di un comunicato di scuse istituzionali da parte di Alfieri (scuse verso se stesso, precisiamo, poiché dicendo quelle parole ha offeso se stesso e il suo democratico impegno politico che intraprende fin da giovanissimo), siamo per forza di cose costretti a dover considerare il Sindaco di Capaccio Paestum come un Sindaco fuori dal Sistema Democratico, poiché non crede o pone fiducia in esso.
