Intervista a Giancarlo Guercio, autore e regista dello spettacolo teatrale “Dyonisos”, tratto dalle “Baccanti” di Euripide e inscenato dalla compagnia teatrale locale “Skeni” di casa Skenai – impresa sociale.
Il Dyonisos si riconferma, per il secondo anno consecutivo, uno spettacolo assai apprezzato dal pubblico cilentano. Qual è il segreto del suo successo?
“Dionysos avvince il pubblico innanzitutto perché la rappresentazione è costruita su un testo di grande forza scenica e concettuale. Euripide ha scritto tragedie importanti e imponenti e tra esse le Baccanti è forse l’opera più spettacolare e complessa. I personaggi proposti detengono una forza sovraumana. Dioniso e le Baccanti sono entità antropomorfe, divine e la loro natura è pienamente espressa nel testo. Una natura che si trasferisce come energia anche nei personaggi storici che subiscono l’influsso di Dioniso”.
Quest’anno avete toccato vette altissime, esibendovi finanche di fronte al pubblico siciliano. In che modo vi ha segnati questa esperienza?
“La rappresentazione del Dionysos ha avuto un’occasione davvero unica, potendosi esibire su palcoscenici prestigiosi e che notoriamente accolgono spettacoli di produzioni importanti. Un privilegio per noi essere alla Valle dei Templi di Agrigento, nell’area archeologica di Eraclea Minoa, a Marsala, sull’Argimusco. Un onore e un grande onere. Calcare quelle scottanti tavole è stato per noi un serio banco di prova, e stando agli esiti delle rappresentazioni posso affermare senza rischiare di esagerare che siamo riusciti a incantare anche il pubblico siciliano. Un pubblico competente è attento, affettuoso e partecipativo”.
Perché è importante che il personaggio di Dioniso sia conosciuto dalle future generazioni?
“Le Baccanti di Euripide è un testo che non ha tempo. Appartiene alla Grecia di molti secoli fa, ma anche alle persone della nostra epoca o all’umanità che verrà. È un testo universale per le tematiche trattate che si dissolvono nel dialogo spesso contrastante tra l’essere e l’esistere, tra la forza della natura vera e l’ostinazione della forma dettata dalla morale, talvolta sorda, ostile, caparbia. Con questa tragedia Euripide ha voluto riflettere e far riflettere sul valore dell’accoglienza e del dialogo, fondato su elementi di concretezza. Credo che oggi sia necessario profondere forza al dialogo, qualcosa che non si fa più, vivendo in un’epoca monologante, in cui passivamente si accoglie e passivamente si dà. Il confronto accanito, vivace, è necessario e noi abbiamo l’obbligo di insistere verso la costruzione di dibattiti che facciano dialogare esseri attivi, vivi”.
