Digitale, Italia in ritardo nell’indice Desi 2021. La speranza è tutta nel PNRR.
Per l’edizione 2021 dell’indice di digitalizzazione dell’economia e della società (Desi) l’Italia si colloca al 20° posto fra i 27 Stati membri dell’Ue. “L’Italia è significativamente in ritardo rispetto ad altri Paesi dell’Ue in termini di capitale umano”, si legge nel rapporto. Nel 2021 la Commissione ha adeguato il Desi affinché rispecchiasse le due principali iniziative politiche che avranno un impatto sulla trasformazione digitale nell’Ue nel corso dei prossimi anni: il dispositivo per la ripresa e la resilienza è la bussola per il decennio digitale. Gli indicatori sono ora 4 (non c’è più l’uso dei servizi digitali). Solo il 42% delle persone di età compresa tra i 16 e i 74 anni possiede perlomeno competenze digitali di base (56% nell’Ue) e solo il 22% dispone di competenze digitali superiori a quelle di base (31% nell’Ue). La percentuale di specialisti Tic in Italia è pari al 3,6% dell’occupazione totale, ancora al di sotto della media Ue (4,3%). Solo l’1,3% dei laureati italiani sceglie discipline Tic, un dato ben al di sotto della media Ue. “In conclusione, l’Italia deve far fronte a notevoli carenze nelle competenze digitali di base e avanzate, che rischiano di tradursi nell’esclusione digitale di una parte significativa della popolazione e di limitare la capacità di innovazione delle imprese. La Strategia Nazionale per le Competenze Digitali rappresenta un risultato importante e un’opportunità per colmare questo divario” sottolinea il rapporto.
