I GIOVANI E L’ORIGINE DELLA VIOLENZA

In Campania, ma anche a Salerno e nel nostro territorio, solo negli ultimi giorni, e siamo ancora in piena pandemia, gruppi di adolescenti si sono ritrovati in luoghi noti, in spazi aperti, nelle piazze dove si ritrovano la sera, scatenando risse e assembramenti, nella maggior parte dei casi senza utilizzare le mascherine per proteggersi dal contagio. Viene spontaneo interrogarsi sull’origine di tutta questa violenza per cercare anche di capire in cosa potrebbe trasformarsi. Senz’altro sono molti i fattori che entrano in campo a spiegare da dove nasce tutta questa violenza. Lasciamo in questo caso da parte le condizioni dell’ambito clinico e patologico caratterizzate da reazioni esageratamente sensibili ad avversità o contrarietà della vita, disturbo esplosivo degli impulsi, tendenze antisociali. Di frequente, connesse a quanto si esprime come violenza, è possibile rinvenire rabbia da frustrazione e sono tante le ragioni per cui i ragazzi oggi si sentono frustrati, si passa dalla noia, intesa come stato emotivo spiacevole piuttosto che come anestesia emotiva o ideativa, alla moda. Questa ultima sembra forse meno associabile alla violenza, ma se pensiamo per esempio alla musica quale dimensione che impregna la fase adolescenziale, possiamo verificare l’attualità del genere trap, così comune e diffuso tra i ragazzi fin dall’età della scuola secondaria di primo grado, che di fatto inneggia alla violenza con testi cupi e minacciosi, i cui temi tipici di vita di strada tra criminalità e disagio, povertà e droga, si sono diffusi quale cultura giovanile. Queste violenze vengono definite maxi-risse per il numero elevato di partecipanti e di ragazzi che accorrono ad assistere ed a filmare, ma registriamo anche casi isolati di violenza, come l’accoltellamento di pochi giorni fa in pieno centro a Salerno, che spesso nascono da futili motivi, in piena pandemia, con gli assembramenti vietati, si tratta di una evidente provocazione. Questi eventi cosa vogliono dirci? A vedere bene risse e baby gang sono fenomeni pre-covid tra i giovani e forse ora è possibile leggerci anche un messaggio sociale di presa di posizione di fronte a limiti percepiti come imposti e magari ingiusti che possono apparire esagerati. Molti adulti, non solo giovani, attivano comportamenti contrastanti rispetto alle attuali norme preventive e, in generale, rispetto alla realtà che stiamo vivendo da circa un anno. Negare l’evidenza, attuando comportamenti rissosi all’insegna della forza e prevaricazione, può anche costituire una forma difensiva nei confronti di una condizione che causa angoscia, frustrazione e senso di impotenza. I ragazzi si danno appuntamento in chat e poi, sempre attraverso i social, condividono e diffondono le immagini delle risse. La rete e i social network hanno un ruolo centrale in tutto questo. Per alcuni comportamenti può accadere che questo tipo di comunicazioni inneschi un effetto di contagio sociale, secondo il quale l’azione condivisa diventa una sorta di prescrizione nell’orientamento del comportamento di altri che si riconoscono simili. Il meccanismo alla base di questo è l’imitazione, che è una caratteristica innata dell’essere umano. Per esempio, i video e la musica più di tendenza sui social, suggestionano e attivano imitazione tra i giovani, orientando gli atteggiamenti e i comportamenti, fungendo da modello che assicura fama, successo e like. Il rischio che questi eventi si trasformino in fenomeni di moda pertanto è reale, e ci fa riflettere su quanto sia importante la comunicazione negli anni che stiamo vivendo, sollevando la necessità che si plasmi una società di adulti responsabili, che sappiano trasformare i messaggi in comunicazioni che abbiano effetto protettivo o che sappiano mediare sulle comunicazioni. Sulle risse delle ultime settimane in Campania e sul rischio che questi eventi si trasformino in una moda è il caso di sottolineare che ci troviamo di fronte a un fenomeno vecchio che si realizza con modalità nuove. Il rischio di emulazione esiste da sempre, fa parte dello sviluppo adolescenziale. Siamo esseri che apprendono emulando dei comportamenti ed è inevitabile che alcuni comportamenti in questa fase della vita siano esplosivi: questo non vuole dire giustificare, ma osservare il fenomeno con le lenti dei social media che rendono tutto immediato. Il problema è dato dalla rapidità di diffusione dei video diffusi in rete e dalla platea ampia, oggi l’amplificatore è davvero molto potente. Infine, è giusto riflettere sul ruolo del caregiver, cioè di chi si prende cura e ciò responsabilizza gli adulti ad accompagnare i giovani, a comunicare con loro, poiché sembra che le nuove tecnologie siano spazi arricchenti per gli adolescenti, ma nascondono insidie e rischi, del resto anche vivere è rischioso. Gli adulti non devono usare questi mezzi come silenziatori, devono interagire con i ragazzi anche attraverso queste nuove tecnologie, non devono lasciarli soli, ma aiutarli ad affrontare, anche e soprattutto, questo periodo delicato, che nella loro vita lascerà un segno indelebile.
